ASA Chapter Program
ASA is very happy to announce that we
are developing a Chapter Affiliation Program. Existing local bird clubs or newly
forming clubs now have the opportunity to participate in a national avicultural
chapter affiliation program that will offer benefits to all.
The ASA is becoming increasingly
active on a national level in legislative issues, avicultural conferences, and
conservation programs. Such programs can only grow and prosper with support. In
return, the ASA offers a national presence on legislative issues, a network of
leaders in aviculture, a recognized and trusted name, and a venue for any worthy
program that can benefit from national involvement. Affiliated chapters will
gain a larger audience with a broad range of aviculturists by having access to
national exposure through ASA’s network and our publication, the Avicultural
Bulletin.
The ASA is only as strong as our
membership. Each local club is only as strong as its membership. By joining
forces through a unifying organization under this low-cost and simple program,
we can work together to become much stronger than the sum of our separate
groups. The goal is to make a more cohesive national avicultural community that
can work more effectively on today's issues that affect us all.
